The English Ceramic Circle (ECC) is the oldest society dedicated to the study of British ceramics and enamels. Founded in 1927, it aims to advance knowledge by promoting and publishing new research on these subjects. The Circle's worldwide membership embraces collectors, curators, archaeologists, potters, auctioneers, dealers, social historians and all those with an interest in the history of ceramics made in the British Isles.

Louise Devenish - Founder and President of DevenishGroup.com unites the disciplines of appraisal services, interior design, and educational initiatives on one site, fulfilling her goal of bringing appreciation of art and antiques to a much wider audience.  DevenishGroup.com is an interactive support site for Appraisers, Interior Designers and Aficionados of the Fine and Decorative Arts.  DevenishGroup.com is affiliated with CINOA.

Founded in London in 1947, H.M. Luther has long been a favorite of knowledgeable interior designers and discerning clients. H.M. Luther searches the world for a diverse selection of fine furniture and decorative items. Expert dealers who prefer a wide range of periods and cultures, H.M. Luther’s strengths are European and Asian furniture, mirrors, chandeliers and decorative objects from the seventeenth through the twentieth century.

A graduate of the ceramics and sculpture programs at Ball State University, Greg Kuharic began his work in clay as an apprentice to Alan Patrick at the Bethel Pike Pottery. For over ten years he owned and operated pottery studios, producing functional stoneware and porcelain. In 1988 Mr. Kuharic accepted a position at Sotheby's as Vice President in the 19th and 20th Century Decorative Arts Department. In 2002, Mr, Kuharic began the first significant work in his current series.  The continued exploration of this single theme, has brought with it seemingly unlimited options for variations.

Edward M. Stanley brings years of experience in the fields of antiques and the fine arts to the appraisal profession and is a member of the Appraisers Association of America.  Prior to establishing his appraisal services firm, Mr. Stanley was principal of Edward M. Stanley Historic Preservation Services, and he now serves as Collections Consultant for the historic Loring-Greenough House in Boston.

The Northern Ceramic Society (NCS) was founded in 1972 by a small group of enthusiastic collectors. From small beginnings, the Society has grown substantially and now has nearly a  thousand members in the UK and overseas. The society is one of the leading lights in the study of British ceramics and boasts world renowned experts such as our president Geoffrey Godden and chairman Maurice Hillis. 

Founded in 1987, The Appraisal Foundation is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and sets valuation standards for all disciplines of appraisers, including real property, business valuation and personal property. In 1989, the organization developed the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) in response to the need for a single set of generally recognized valuation standards.

The Potteries of Trenton Society (POTS) is a New Jersey non-profit corporation. Their mission is to promote the study and appreciation of Trenton’s ceramic industry by:

    * Gathering and preserving information related to the industry

    * Sponsoring research projects, seminars and conferences

    * Promoting industry-related heritage tourism activities

The Transferware Collectors Club is a forum for sharing information and interests between collectors, dealers, scholars, and those who simply appreciate the beauty and technical proficiency of English transferware.  The TCC focuses on wares produced from 1760 - 1900 and welcome collectors of all kinds of colors and motifs during that period.

Established in 1983, the American Art Pottery Association brings people together to share their knowledge and interest in art pottery.   Operating as a not for profit 501(c)6 business league, the AAPA and its membership enjoys various activities each year such as: annual convention; annual show, sale, and auction of Art Pottery; annual student scholarship award; and the Journal of American Art Pottery Association (JAAPA).

The French Porcelain Society was established in 1984 by Kate Foster (Lady Davson) for amateurs of French porcelain: scholars, professionals, dealers, collectors and enthusiasts, interested in sharing and advancing knowledge of, and scholarship in, the subject. The American Ceramic Circle (ACC) was founded in 1970 as a non-profit educational organization committed to the study and appreciation of ceramics.  Its purpose is to promote scholarship and research in the history, use, and preservation of ceramics of all kinds, periods, and origins.  Member interest is focused on post-Medieval pottery and porcelain of Europe, Asian ceramics of all periods, and ceramics made, used, or owned in North America.
